The shadows dance on the wall as the memories come flooding back I can feel the anxiety overtaking me I have to stay focused on my goals All my hopes and dreams But night falls And the nightmares start They swallow me up in the darkness All my fears flash before my eyes Like a terror in the night But I must reclaim my dreams And have victory over my thoughts Poem I wrote called "STRUGGLE"“STRUGGLE”
I’ve struggled all my life And facing adversity I came out as a lesbian at 14 I came out as Trans at 34 I’ve faced many obstacles in my way But I have my eye on my goal With perseverance; hard work and dedication I know I can reach my goals I will break the chains and shackles of everything holding me back and weighing me down I hope I reach goal No, I know I will I must I will take a chance even if I fail Growth is a pain Yes it is Growth is painful But I’m willing to struggle To get where I need to go Poem I wrote entitled “SUCCESS” © Aiden D KirchnerTo be successful
You have to make an effort Money can’t buy happiness But poverty can’t buy anything To be successful you have to sacrifice certain things I cannot wait until I reach the pinnacle of my career Than I will have victory over my goals And such fulfillment in my life It’s going to be a journey One I’m willing to go on I will have such contentment When I have the status as the rich one in the family |
