If I Died TonightIf I died tonight, would my name be whispered,
In the somber darkness, where shadows restore, Would tears fall like rain, from eyes that had missed, The beating of a heart they'd so often adore? If I died tonight, would laughter turn to silence, As echoes of my laughter fade into the night, Would memories paint portraits, vibrant and timeless, Keeping my spirit alive, burning bright? If I died tonight, would regrets claw at the door, Of hearts left behind, burdened with remorse, Would they seek solace in words left unsaid, Longing for a chance, a moment to endorse? If I died tonight, would the stars paint a tapestry, With constellations formed in the shape of my dreams, Would the moon sing a symphony, haunting and free, In honor of a life that danced with moonbeams? If I died tonight, would love blanket the world, A balm for the souls that grieve my departure, Would kindness rise like sprouting buds unfurled, A testament to love's everlasting nurture? If I died tonight, let it be a catalyst, To cherish each breath, each fragile heartbeat, For life's truest measure lies not in the vast, But in the moments treasured, oh so sweet. If I died tonight, let it be a reminder, That life's fragile beauty should never be ignored, That in every heartbeat, in every passing hour, Lies the potential for a life fully adored.
