While my journey has been filled with successes, I am not without my own unique challenges. I have ADHD and OCD, which have shaped my perspective on life and taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and determination.

Outside of my work, I am a passionate soccer lover. Whether I'm playing on the field or cheering from the sidelines, the beautiful game has always held a special place in my heart. The teamwork, dedication, and sheer excitement of soccer inspire me both on and off the field.

The DO's:

1. Set Boundaries: It's important to establish clear boundaries when dealing with toxic individuals. 5. Practice Mel Robbins "5 Second Rule" - Your mind has about 5-second window before you start to over think things. This can include getting up in the morning, introducing yourself to others, speaking in a meeting etc. when you act within those 5 seconds you interrupt your brain from going into overthinking mode and you do what you always wanted to do.
6. Surround Yourself With Positivity - Surrounding yourself with positive people can help you feel happier and more confident. Because Positive People can; improve your mood, motivate you, empower you, help you achieve your goals, increase you problem-solving skills, make you more flexible, and relieve stress.
7. Look for Lessons

Toxic people can teach us lessons about:
- Red Flags - Toxic people are good at hiding their flaws.
- Subtle negativity: Toxic people can drain our mental and emotional resources.
- Manipulation: Toxic people can make us doubt our feelings and experiences.
Lessons we can learn from toxic people include:
- Happiness is more valuable than money.
- You can't change a pessimistic person's mind.
- Complaining isn't worth the energy.
- They'll do whatever it takes to drag you down.
- Going to work “just” to work is a wasteful activity.

8. Cultivate Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence can help you deal with toxic people in a few ways:
- Empathy
  - You can understand where a toxic person is coming from and what might be driving their behavior.
- Awareness
  - You can avoid overreacting or shutting down, and instead choose a more appropriate and rational way to deal with the situation.

9. Do Practice Mindfulness - (Present and Focus on the Moment) Practicing mindfulness can help you deal with Toxic People because Mindfulness can help you Focus on the Present, Process Emotions, Increase Empathy and Compassion, Cope with Difficult Emotions, and Manage Toxic Thoughts.
10. Do Document Patterns - Write down Toxic Behaviors that you notice in yourself and in others.

The DON'T's:

1. Don't Engage in Arguments: Toxic people often thrive on conflict and negativity. Avoid getting drawn into arguments or heated discussions that serve no purpose other than to drain your energy and elevate tension. Instead, disengage and redirect the conversation towards more positive topics.
2. Don't Take it Personally: Toxic behavior is usually a reflection of the other person's issues rather than a reflection of your worth. Remind yourself that their negativity is not a reflection of your value as a person, and try not to internalize their hurtful words or actions.
3. Don't Enable Toxic Behavior: It's natural to want to help others, but enabling toxic behavior can be detrimental to both parties involved.
